ELIGIBILITY

  • You are a permanent resident of Canada.

  • Be between the ages of 18 and 54 at the time of signing your application

  • Have lived in Canada and have filed your income taxes for at least 3 out of the last 5 years before applying.

  • Not be under a removal order or inadmissible on criminal or security grounds.

  • Demonstrate adequate knowledge of English or French by taking a language test.

  • Those under 18 or over 5 are exempt from the language and knowledge requirements
